Can a PO Be Created as Tax (GST) Exclusive?

Yes, a Purchase Order (PO) can be created as tax-exclusive. This means that taxes may be subject to change at the time of billing. Here's how it works:

  • Tax Exclusive PO: If the "Taxes Exclusive" checkbox is selected on the PO, the GST rate and associated CGST/SGST/IGST fields are removed from the PO. This allows flexibility in case taxes are adjusted at the time of billing.

  • Tax Inclusive PO: If the "Taxes Exclusive" checkbox is not selected, the GST rate and associated CGST/SGST/IGST fields must be filled in by the user at the PO level. The invoice submitted against the PO must align with the tax details set in the PO.

This feature ensures that the tax treatment is adaptable and aligns with the actual tax rates at the time of invoicing.
