Is adding comments optional or mandatory for approvals and rejections?

Notifications: As an approver, you will receive an email notification and a notification in your feed when a transaction requires your approval.

Taking Action: Open the transaction and click Approve or Decline in the top-right corner.

  • Approval: Adding comments during approval is optional.

  • Rejection: Adding comments is mandatory when rejecting a request.

After Your Action: The system will determine if any other approvals are required at the current level. If all approvals in the current level are resolved, the next level of approvers will be notified.

Submitter Notifications: The request's submitter will receive a notification for each approval or rejection associated with their transaction.
